This policy explains how Next Technology Gate Ltd (“we”, “us”) uses your personal data when you visit this website, buy from us or contact us.

Who we are

NEXT TECHNOLOGY GATE LTD is registered in England and Wales (company no. 17069158), with its registered office at 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 6EB, United Kingdom. We’re the authorised Swanz distributor in the United Kingdom, the European Union and Turkey, and we’re responsible (the “controller”) for the personal data described here. Swanz, the brand owner and manufacturer, is a separate company with its own websites and privacy policies.

For anything about your personal data, email privacy@nexttechnologygate.com.

  • When you cancel an order: the details you give on the cancellation form.
  • If you write a product review: your name and your review.
  • When you browse: technical details our web server records, such as your IP address and browser type, and the cookies described in our Cookie policy.

Who we share it with

  • our payment provider, to take payment;
  • delivery companies, to deliver your order;
  • the companies that host this website and send our emails;
  • Swanz, the manufacturer, when a warranty claim needs its assessment: the details of the claim, with any photos or videos, but never your payment details;

  • the police, tax authorities or courts, when the law requires it.

Our service providers may only use your data to provide their services to us.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of these companies, including Swanz, are based outside the UK. When your data goes outside the UK, we protect it as the law requires, for example with the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices: six years, as UK tax law requires.
  • Your account: until you ask us to close it.
  • Messages sent through the forms on this website, with their files: 24 months, then they’re deleted automatically.
  • Emails: as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.
  • Server logs: a short time, for security.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your personal data;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
  • send it to you, or to another company, in a common format;
  • stop using it where you gave your consent (this doesn’t affect what we did before).

Email privacy@nexttechnologygate.com. We’ll reply within one month. Some rights have exceptions: for example, we have to keep order records for tax purposes.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve used your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113), in the European Union to the data protection authority of the country you live in, or, in Turkey, to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
